Green collar hijabi

Green collar

Here's an approximation of what I'm wearing today, although my shirt is more of a business shirt than this tunic style. I really challenged my style recently and bought three shirts in colours I don't normally wear for work - green, pink and maroon. I'm really enjoying wearing my more colourful hijabs and trying out new colour combos like green-navy-teal. When wearing bright colours to work I feel really comfortable when I wear a formal jacket or light coat on top.

Rayyan's Twenty First Outfit - Hijab

In this look Rayyan wears a pale blue and off-green almost beige striped shayla over an olive underscarf. I really like how the off-green sections match the beige shirt without being matchy matchy. Here are my hijab options:

"Kreuzberger girlies" - Streetsyle Four

Source: herr klamm - kreuzberger girlies 1

Another beautiful summery look from the kreuzberger girlies 1! This features another white long sleeve tee with a maroon short sleeve shirt over the rop and a lovely flowing white skirt. The scarf is also maroon white white polka dots, perfectly matching this tesettür look. I couldn't find a scarf that matched exactly and as before I've done a range of outfits for different interpretations of modesty. There are so many cool purple scarves that I couldn't help but use them like a border. I personally like the geometric and stripy patters best as they are so distinctly tesettür-hijab.

Shiny shiny!

Yes this look is over the top, I really wouldn't wear it, not only because some things are expensive but I just wouldn't dress this bright and shiny. (Love the trousers) But it was so fun to match the eşarp to different clothes. This however is not a Turkish pirce silk eşarp but its a USD$7.90 2hijab floral hijab! These hijabs on 2hijab aren't actually floral but they are pretty swirly, checked and geometic satin scarves. They are also great if you are scared of the small square silk scarves that are sold as eşarp which are often 90cm squared as they are 50cm x 180cm shaylas.

Rayyan's Nineteenth Outfit

Here Ryanna is wearing a pale denim pocket shirt with a navy long sleeve tee underneath.

Here's a slightly darker shirt:

Hadi Store's Denim Button Shirt for USD$15

Grab a long sleeve body top from Canadian Muslim for USD $14.82 to go underneath, they are great as they are 23" long.

We don't get to see Rayyan's skirt in this but I thought this navy skirt would be nice:

Shukr's Navy Patch Pleat Skirt for USD $48.95

Rayyan's Nineteenth Outfit - Hijab

Here is Rayyan in another shayla, this one is mauve with a color change to deep purple or navy with sequins and tasselss on the navy ends. I can't find scarves with the same color change, so I'm going to do something really different.

I've got two turban over al-amira options, I know its very different hijab style from what Rayyan wears but it might be fun to try it in Rayyan colors:

Rayyan's Seventeenth Outfit

Rayyan wears a very pretty blue outfit of a long turquoise tee with a bit of embroidery over navy trousers.

As usual Shukr has the best set:
Shukr's Soft Cotton Shirt with Tucks in Oceania for USD $48.95

with these trousers:
Shukr's Wool Flannel Pants in Navy Blue for USD $19.95 or for a wider trouser try Shurk's Lengha Pants for USD $48.95

I know I use Shukr alot, if you would rather I used some other site please recommend me one in your comments.

Rayyan's Seventeenth Outfit - Hijab

Rayyan certainly likes cut velvet floral scarves, this one is blackish navy with blue flowers and green leaves.

A little bird told me, aka alixianna that my hijab posts are great so I've gone nuts!

This is a skinny scarf so you need a navy al-amira underneath Scarf World's Skinny Velvet Scarf (Blue Roses) for £15.99 It's the closest scarf to Rayyan's as its cut velvet in the same colors.

Still pretty skinny so stick with that al-amira Scarf World's Sheer Neck Scarf (Blue & Black Floral) for £2.95 This is similar in the patterns and colors but isn't velvet.

Scarf World's Long Sheer Shawl (Black & Blue Poppies) for £9.99 This scarf doesn't have any green but the turquoise actually matches her shirt better

Scarf World's Sheer Silk Shawl (Blue Flowers) for £9.99 Can you say pop! I really love this scarf, its quite different because it doesn't have any black but if you are going for the blue look try this great scarf.

Here's the al-amira you need, its nice and long so you don't have to be scared of the skinny scarf slipping off: Hijab Girl's Necessity One-Piece Al-Amira Hijab in Navy Blue for USD $5.25
