Rayyan's Eighteenth Outfit

Same as Rayyan's Fourteenth Outfit, long green trouser over black trousers.

Shukr's done some new spring tops and this one is a similar color although different style:

Shukr's Lujane Blouse in Lemongrass for US$44.95

Don't you just love Shukr's new tops? A few sisters were complaining about the length of their sleeves, so that makes me hesitant to order, but I think I'll just have to try them out for myself. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to wrap the tesettur hijabs that you asked about before. When I try to copy those styles using the scarves that I have, it seems that I have too much fabric... So, I think that the tesettur scarves are smaller and that's why they look so tidy when they're styled. I'll keep trying though! :-)

I don't know if my comment post but I love the shirt. I would wear it at home too as a dress! The perfect spring colour.

Thankyou all for your comments

Alixianna - your husband/home dress fashion idea is fab

Lili - I'd love to get more comments like yours about different options from my readers

Kima - jazakallah for your wonderful site sis, I love the dress in your Adore Du Jour posting, if you look at my shopping blog you can find a home dress option. I hope one day a Turkish sister can teach me tesettur hijab tying. I really appreciate that you have taken the time to comment Kima, may Allah swt bless your business.

Love the colour of the Shukr top! Btw ladies what aspect of tesettur hijab are you having difficulty with?

Thank you for your comment Hayah, the problem I am having is how to tie them. How do you get the rounded front away from the skull and the nice draping wrappy bit under the neck?

Hmmm.. I think is depends on the material. You might want to try the plastic strips that go inside the hijab:

I normally do these styles:

http://www.yarenesarp.com.tr/popup.asp?a=armine&b=44

http://www.yarenesarp.com.tr/popup.asp?a=armine&b=14

For the second style: After you pin underneath the chin, you just take one of the ends, and spread it out so it's a single layer, then pin to the side. I normally pin it to the side of my head.

You can see that the don't fold the hijab at the sides of the face, so that helps to keep the peak up as well..

Hope that helps, let me know if it works out!
